  • Florence June 2017 – Mona Lisa, Madonna!

Florence also has an interesting art and retail (sort of) mix. I was impressed by the coherence of the message and the way it was delivered all over the city.IMG_3578Florence – library window display / / / Florence – Louis Vuitton window display

[…] I took 2 photos that day. While I was out rushing to get to Pitti Uomo Fair, a Mona Lisa cover book popped out in a library window and I felt like taking a picture. After the expo I visited the Bill Viola mostra – Rinascimento Elettronico, which was all about Renaissance (same artistic period Mona Lisa was painted) and the digital era. I was impressed by Viola’s works and their message and coming out of the Palazzo Strozzi I found myself sitting in front of a Louis Vuitton window shop with a couple of Renaissance visual elements and… a huge Mona Lisa background!
